Jérôme Gilloux joins the Lapierre Overvolt Team
Jérôme Gilloux, reigning UCI World Champion in E-MTB XC, and winner of six rounds and the overall ranking of the 2021 UCI E-MTB XC World Cup, joins the Lapierre Overvolt Team, which until now has been led by the French E-MTB Enduro Champion Nicolas Vouilloz.
An outstanding rider known for his agility and technique on an electrically assisted mountain bike, Jérôme Gilloux has signed with the Lapierre Overvolt Team for two years. He will ride an Overvolt GLP II Team bike optimised for XC -MTB circuits.
He will compete also in the French Cup and UCI World Cup rounds, with the ultimate goal of retaining his E-MTB XC World Championship title on the Les Gets circuit at the end of August. Jér ôme Gilloux will also compete in the World Cup rounds of the EWS-E (Enduro World Series Electric) with the ambition of also winning several events.
