After the GLP III in 2024 in the e-mountain bike category, it is now the turn of our Xelius DRS 9.0 and our Spicy CF Team to receive the prestigious Design & Innovation Award - chosen by a panel of experts from the world of cycling. Decorated in their respective categories (Road and MTB) for their unique features and technologies, these awards highlight - once again - the hard work of Lapierre engineers behind the scenes and our avant-garde vision of performance!

A genuine king of the road, our Xelius DRS is a game changer for elite and amateur riders looking to push back their limits. This edginess and versatility clearly convinced the jury:
"With the new Xelius DRS, Lapierre combines the aerodynamic power of Aircode DRS with the light, dynamic character of the Xelius SL. The result? A lightweight and exceptionally rigid racing bike that can be transformed into a versatile off-roader, thanks to clever aerodynamics and a 3D tubular design for the seat stays. They are extended towards the top tube and finely tuned to offer comfort, absorbing vibrations without compromising on performance.
Developed in collaboration with DT Swiss, the ERC 1400 wheels with mixed rim heights offer the perfect balance between aerodynamics and comfort. The sporty geometry of the Xelius DRS also ensures a responsive and efficient ride, while retaining the climbing qualities that are the hallmark of the Xelius range. The jury's verdict about the Spicy CF Team
Our Spicy CF won over the jury with its tremendous versatility and its ability to change configuration to suit different terrains and moods. In any case, that is what the jury thought:
"With the Lapierre Spicy CF, the French manufacturer is offering an enduro bike that sets new standards in terms of versatility thanks to its innovative conversion concept, offering optimum performance in all possible configurations. Designed for riders who want to personalise their bike, it allows them to adjust the rear suspension and even the main pivot point.
The Spicy CF can be converted between a high or low pivot rear suspension system. What's more, it can be configured either as a 'mullet' bike (27.5-inch rear wheel/29-inch front wheel) or as a model equipped entirely with 29-inch wheels. Thanks to the conversion kit that comes with it, riders can adapt the bike directly from its factory configuration (with a high pivot and a 27.5" rear wheel) to suit their preferences and the terrain: whether it's a low pivot or a complete 29" set-up.
The Spicy CF is a resolutely downhill-oriented enduro bike, which nonetheless retains respectable climbing ability despite its high-pivot suspension. It is particularly outstanding downhill, with a remarkable balance between stability and agility. It holds its line with precision and confidence, even at high speed.
