Isabeau Courdurier

Forever first.

This is the story of a little girl who always believed she would fulfil her dreams. It's the fairytale of a passionate woman who overcame every obstacle - some tiny, some huge - to finally reach the summit of women's Enduro. Isabeau Courdurier is an athlete unlike any other. Her character is multi-faceted, colourful and unique. Her life is so hectic that it could be made into a Hollywood film, or at least her own animated film. Isa's life takes place off the beaten tracks. She digs deep to find exceptional tenacity and resilience, and reinvents herself constantly.

Even when fate hinders her progress. Such as in July 2022, when a branch crossed her path as she was racing at full speed, piercing her shoe and into her bones. Miraculously, her "unicorn foot" only suffered superficial injuries. Unicorn, the mystical "patronus" of Isabeau was born, and with it a fantastic legend came to a climactic close in 2024 with the rainbow jersey of the World Enduro Champion on her back. She won this title - the first in the discipline's history - just before a timely break in her career. A break that will last as long as it lasts. Forever first. Forever Isa.

From a young girl to the queen of Enduro

Isa took part in her very first race at the age of five. At an age when most children are still riding with stabiliser wheels, the fiery young girl from Aix had already mastered the art of balance. A passion for mountain biking was awakened and has not waned since. The rest follows like a path mapped out with the implacable logic of a champion: from cross mountain biking until the age of 17 to overcome physical demands, to a first full Enduro mountain biking season in 2012 before successfully joining the global circuit in 2013, at just 19 years old.

This was the start of an abundance of victories, beginning with a multitude of French Enduro champion titles and then a first global crown in 2019. The next part of story takes off on the Spicy CF, with two back-to-back world titles (2022 and 2023) ensuring her international supremacy before achieving this rainbow jersey snapped up in the icy mud of Canazei in September 2024. On the threshold of her personal break, the numbers associated with her career border on the irrational. A total of 22 World Cup wins and 55 podium finishes for 80 Enduro World Series participations. That amounts to an extraordinary 69% of podium finishes and a win rate of over 27%. The dreamy child is now a queen in the discipline!

I'm an athlete who does my best to push back the limits and to share my passion. I want to inspire lots of other girls to pursue their dreams.

Isabeau Courdurier

Fifty-Fifty

"I'm an athlete who does my best to push back the limits and to share my passion. I want to inspire lots of other girls to pursue their dreams". Committed to her discipline, committed to life, Isabeau Courdurier is an ambassadress who embodies her values. She does this in the Enduro world by playing an active role in her discipline, among younger generations of athletes as well – Lily Planquart from Team Lapierre Zipp Collective will definitely agree with this – and in civilian life. By sponsoring the Fifty-Fifty association, which helps women who are victims of violence to rebuild themselves through sport, Isabeau will carry the women's flag high in 2025. For someone born on 8 March, International Women's Day, this is no coincidence!

A new bike for a new life

Some athletes make their mark on a brand. That's the case here. The story of "Isa" and Lapierre began in 2020 with the belief that women's Enduro had huge development potential. Four years of collaboration confirmed this. Four years of shared challenges, complicity, and difficult moments too that shook the life of a brand To accompany her break, we have designed a special bike with complex colours and a striking design. In line with her career and her personality.

"Forever First" therefore naturally resonates on the down tube of her Spicy CF, customised with an air of reverence. Her Enduro World Cup victories are inscribed on the upper tube. Canazei, Finale Ligure (her favourite race) and Loudenvielle: there is no shortage of mythical places. Thank you Isa!
