Isabeau Courdurier Claims Victory at the European Downhill Cup in La Molina

A successful race weekend for Lapierre athlete Isabeau Courdurier: at the third round of the European Downhill Cup (EDC) in La Molina, Spain, the French rider secured her first victory at this level of European competition, marking an important milestone in her season.

Fastest from Qualifying to the Finish Line

The demanding track in La Molina featured everything modern downhill racing is known for: technical sections, high-speed straights and little room for error. From the very first timed runs, Isabeau demonstrated strong pace and confidence on the bike.

During Saturday’s qualifying session, she set the fastest Elite Women time, earning the ideal position heading into Sunday’s final.

In the race run, Isabeau delivered a clean and controlled performance, holding onto the top spot and crossing the finish line as the winner of the third round of the European Downhill Cup.

An Important Milestone

The victory in Spain represents a significant step forward in Isabeau’s season and comeback journey. Alongside the win, she also secured a Golden Ticket for an upcoming round of the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup, opening the door to further opportunities on the sport’s biggest stage.

Valuable Development on the Lapierre Spicy Team CF

Beyond the result itself, the weekend provided an excellent opportunity to continue developing and refining the Lapierre Spicy Team CF under race conditions.

Testing different setups and gathering valuable feedback throughout the event allowed Isabeau and her support team to identify areas for further improvement as they continue preparing for the challenges ahead.

Eyes on the Next Challenges

There is little time to celebrate. In just two weeks, Isabeau will line up at the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup in Lenzerheide, Switzerland, one of the key events of the season.

She has also been selected for the upcoming international rounds in Canazei Val di Fassa and La Thuile, where she will compete against some of the world's best riders in Enduro and Downhill disciplines.

Building Momentum for the Rest of the Season

The win in La Molina is a reward for months of hard work and dedication. It confirms the progress Isabeau Courdurier has made and provides a strong foundation for the upcoming World Cup races.

With renewed confidence, valuable race data and clear objectives ahead, Isabeau now turns her focus to Lenzerheide and the next chapter of her 2025 campaign aboard the Lapierre Spicy Team CF.
