Lapierre developed the Zesty platform with input from MTB legend Nicolas Vouilloz, combining French racing heritage with trail-focused innovation. Advanced OST+ suspension kinematics improve traction and pedaling efficiency, while carefully tuned frame designs create a bike that feels both lively and controlled on technical terrain. Depending on the model, riders benefit from lightweight aluminum or carbon construction, modern 29” wheel setups, dropper posts, and trail-ready component packages.

Zesty TR

What makes the Zesty TR special is its focus on efficient trail performance. Compared to longer-travel all-mountain or enduro bikes, the Zesty TR uses a lighter and more agile setup with around 120–130 mm of suspension travel, making it faster uphill, more responsive in corners, and highly efficient on rolling terrain. At the same time, modern geometry with slack head angles and short chainstays provides excellent stability and confidence on descents.

Compared to the more race-oriented Prorace lineup, the Zesty TR offers greater comfort, suspension performance, and descending confidence. Compared to aggressive bikes like the Spicy or Overvolt AM, it focuses more on versatility, efficiency, and playful trail riding rather than maximum downhill performance. This makes the Zesty TR the ideal choice for riders looking for a true do-it-all trail bike capable of handling everything from after-work rides to demanding mountain adventures.
