Lapierre X Alpine

The ultimate pinnacle.

Pure grey. Electric blue. A single vision. The story between Lapierre and Alpine is now being written in a different register, at the crossroads of two ideals of French know-how: by associating our GLP III and Xelius DRS with the Alpine A290 electric car for urban mobility, we wanted to create a galaxy that, until now, had never been explored. Our aim is for these two worlds to form a new universe of sporting excellence!

Xelius DRS SE, the first of the name

Before, there was Aircode and Xelius SL; now there's the Xelius DRS which has earned its pedigree with the initials "SE" (Special Edition). Just like its predecessors, the Xelius DRS SE joins our partnership of excellence with Alpine with the unveiling of a royal 2025 edition full of character. The new monarch of the professional peletons (with several victories behind it already) parades in a sleek dress that highlights its futuristic lines: from the 3D Tubular to the down tube, nothing has been left to chance and nothing has been neglected. Its new design, clean lines and perfectly integrated components clear the way for high speeds on both flat and uphill terrain.

According to Romain Bardet, iconic climber from the Picnic PostNL team and multiple Tour de France stage winner, this bike is "extremely playful, it's got a good vibe in the mountains". It is the natural heir to the A290, a visionary electric city car that offers a new burst of modernity and sportiness.

GLP III SE Alpine: a constellation of excellence

Unlike the Xelius DRS SE, the GLP III is familiar with special editions designed in partnership with the French car manufacturer. And for good reason. Like Alpine in its field, the GLP III is revolutionising the E-MTB galaxy thanks to a unique design. What's its speciality? Exceptional weight centralisation around the chainset for outstanding riding sensations on the trails. The weight of the engine/battery unit, positioned closer to the ground, offers better balance and a lower centre of gravity.  This provides superior handling and rapid acceleration. Finding the right trajectory is child's play with the GLP III, which will take you faster, further and higher.

Dressed in mercury grey and with "GLP" (Gravity Logic Project, the name of the weight centralisation programme given by Lapierre engineers) engraved in blue letters on the engine block, it is the rising star on the trails in 2025. Just like the A290, which has become the benchmark electric city car. Two stars attempting to take over the electric world!
